Infinite Dust price takes a plunge in patch 3.3
The dungeon finder is certainly a hit for everyone. Finding groups for heroics has never been this easy and its making everyone farm gear for their alts. Along with the superb dungeon finder is the ability to automatically disenchant gear while inside the dungeon as long as you have an enchanter in your group. With these two new additions to the game, getting enchant materials has never been easier as well. Too bad for those in the enchanting business, infinite dusts price takes a plunge.
Remember the days when each infinite dust costs 4g? Ah, good times. Now it’s as low as 1g per piece. Greater Cosmic Essence dropped as well. Besides that, the AH is flooded with infinite dust making it harder and harder to sell.While people are still gearing up through the dungeon finder, infinite dust prices are going to stay low. Will it ever rise again when dungeon finding isn’t such a fad anymore? Who knows?
Is crafting and disenchanting stuff still worth it? I think it’s time for you to recalculate.
This can be to your advantage, if infinite dust prices are woefully low, start buying up cheap mats for scrolls. while everyone can get mats not everyone has a chanter to convert them into scrolls of greater defence or enchant shield etc.
