The reason why this gem sells so fast is that it’s the only decent metagem used by PvE dpsers, both melee and ranged. I’ve been selling these everyday and it always sells like pancakes. Let’s get on how to profit from this gem.

Here are the exact steps I use to make this metagem for maximum profit:

1. Use a jewelcrafter to prospect saronite ores and put all Chalcedony and Bloodstone aside. The rest you can make into green gems for disenchanting (See more on Prospecting Saronite Ore).
2. Buy all CHEAP eternal air in the auction house. If you do not know what cheap means in your server, see the post Save Gold Using Auctioneer. If you have a miner and you mine around, I’m sure you have eternal air from mining titanium ores. Keep them!
3. Use an alchemist that’s spec to transmutation. You will be using Transmute: Skyflare Diamond with your Bloodstone, Chalcedony and Eternal Airs that you kept.
4. Get a Jewelcrafter to cut Chaotic Skyflare Diamond.

Tips:

• If skyflare diamonds are cheap in the auction house, buy them all out, cut them into Chaotic Skyflare Diamond and profit!
• If chalcedony and bloodstone are also cheap in the auction house, buy them all out for Transmute: Skyflare diamond.

Chaotic Skyflare Diamond sells for an average of 60 gold per piece. If you are the only one on the market, don’t be afraid to increase the price (be reasonable of course). People will still buy it even though the price is high because its demand is really high.

Anyone know any other metagem that sells like pancakes? I’ve tried Insightful Earthsiege Diamonds but it doesn’t sell fast due to the low population of healers. I might try again though…
