Herbalism Bags
Herbalism bags is a barely touched market. I was searching for one since I needed it for my alt w/ herbalism. After several days of searching, finally I get to see someone post Mycah’s Botanical Bag, which is a herbalism bag from the BC. It’s a 28 slot herbalism bag so it’s not so bad but the price is – 250 gold!
Two herbalism bags are worth crafting for profit:
1. Mycah’s Botanical Bag (28 Slot Herbalism Bag)
Total Mats (If created by a Mooncloth Specialist):
-
36 Netherweave Cloth
-
4 Arcane Dust
-
20 Mote of Life (2 Primal Life)
-
20 Mote of Water (2 Primal Water)
-
2 Fel Lotus
Selling Price: 250 gold
The only problem with this bag is the required revered reputation from the Sporeggar. The recipe, Pattern: Mycah’s Botanical Bag, can be purchased from the Sporeggar Quartermaster. FYI, I heard it’s a pain to grind for Sporeggar rep, that’s why this bag can sell for 250 gold.
2. Emerald Bag (32 Slot Herbalism Bag)
Emerald Bag is the WOTLK version of herbalism bag.
Total Mats (If made by a Mooncloth Specialist):
-
20 Frostweave
-
4 Infinite Dust
-
4 Eternal Life
-
6 Frost Lotus
Pattern: Emerald Bag requires a revered reputation from the Kalu’ak, which isn’t very hard because you can do Kalu’ak dailies for reputation.
Selling price: 650 GOLD!
You can save a lot if you ask a Mooncloth specialist to craft the moonshroud for you and just give him a tip. If you are a Mooncloth specialist, then even better!
WoW Tailoring Shirts – Fashion Sells
Warrior tanks with plate, healed by a shaman wearing a mail and a dpser rogue wearing leather. All of them don’t have a shirt, and no one gives a damn.
Few bother to wear a bit of cloth besides a cape. What a low blow to casters loving their smooth, silky and aerodynamic cloth. We cloth wearing characters feel the discrimination with every gank from a plate wearing dude. We love you too by the way.
A new market emerges – bank alts! Being lvl 1 and not having the huge “I need no cloth” ego most lvl 80s have, these bank alts love to pimp up the style.
Use your professions’ cooldowns!
Using your professions’ cooldowns may be common sense. But common sense isn’t so common in this day and age of laziness and idiocy. I see a lot of people in /trade selling their professions’ cooldowns very cheap. And some of these people complain about their lack of gold supply. Oh I wonder why…
Bolt of Imbued Frostweave
Believe it or not, bolt of imbued frostweave actually sells. It’s a very small market with a very few competitors. It doesn’t sell fast like pancakes but it’s definitely an untapped gold mine. The best part is, it sells for 15-20 gold a piece.
Netherweave Bag
Sitting on the top list of auctions sold is the Netherweave Bag! How fast you ask? I’ve never seen the Netherweave Bag have more than 1 page in the Auction House despite a number of people crafting them. Plus, I’ve never had the problem of not selling a netherweave bag due to undercutting. These bags are selling like crack! Maybe it’s a fashion thing to have netherweave bags on your alt. Linen Bags are so 2005, Frostweave bags are a tad expensive, but netherweave bags gets more bang for the buck. If you want fast money, get into this bagwagon.
Selling Spellthread
9/04/09
These are one of my favorites to sell, spellthreads from tailoring are bought by healers and caster dps-ers. Mats are particularly easy to find and sell really well after raids. Both sell for an average of 200 gold.
