Crafting and Selling Glyphs Fast Using Quick Auctions
Selling glyphs is the cash cow of scribes. Glyphs are really cheap to produce and can sell for so much. Despite the belief that dual spec destroys the glyph market, you’d be amazed how much people are buying glyphs every now and then. The biggest problem is the amount of time it takes to 1)Find which glyphs are worth crafting and selling 2) Crafting the glyphs 3)Posting the enormous amount of glyphs. My tried and tested method will help you cut down this time in half.
Use your professions’ cooldowns!
Using your professions’ cooldowns may be common sense. But common sense isn’t so common in this day and age of laziness and idiocy. I see a lot of people in /trade selling their professions’ cooldowns very cheap. And some of these people complain about their lack of gold supply. Oh I wonder why…
Easy Disenchanting, Prospecting and Milling
A lot of people still do the clicking method when disenchanting, prospecting and milling. You know, for example, click disenchanting then click the gear to disenchant. This takes A LOT of time especially when you’re disenchanting, prospecting, or milling for profit. Haven’t you guys asked “Isn’t there a faster way?”
Death Knight Glyphs That Sell
9/10/09
Everyone is still on the death knight craze. Of course, who wouldn’t want to play the first ever hero class? Death knights are the new Paladins during BC. Remember those days when its flooding with Paladins? Now, it’s the Death Knights’ turn to multiply like rabbits. Just think about it, all these multiplying rabbits need glyphs!
Runescroll of Fortitude – Patch 3.2.2
8/29/09
Good news for scribes, the Runescroll of Fortitude is going to be implemented in 3.2.2. This will be a replacement for Power Word: Fortitude for raid groups that can’t find a priest.
Runescroll of Fortitude (Inscription) – Snowfall Ink, Resilient Parchment x 5 – Increases Stamina by 165 for all party and raid members for 1 hr. – MMO-CHAMP
I only can estimate how much this will go for. Snowfall ink sells for around 18-20 gold plust 5x parchment is around 2.5 gold. I’m guessing crafting this will produce 5x Runescroll of Stamina. So I’m guessing this will sell for more than 4.5 gold each. The question is, are people willing to buy it? Mighty expensive if you ask me especially for a wipefest.
EDIT:
I figure runescroll of fortitude is another way of disposing off your extra snowfall inks. Before selling Runescroll of Fortitude, you must identify first how much you sell Snowfall Inks first. Let’s say I can sell a snowfall ink for 20g, the cost of runescroll fortitude will be as follows:
Cost = (fortitude_price) + (5x resil parchment)
Cost = 20g + 2.5g
Cost/each = 22.5g/5
1 Runescroll of Fortitude = 4.5 gold
Remember: Don’t sell less than the cost T_T
Of course you add a little more price for more profit. Wowhead’s average price is 5 gold and 80 silver. If your servers selling price of runescroll of fortitude is less than 4.5 gold each, and you can still sell snowfall inks for 20g, just sell your inks IMO.
Worth it to Craft Darkmoon Card of the North for Profit?
8/26/09
One of the main uses of the profession Inscription is to make darkmoon cards which gives you a chance to make nobles cards which sells for around 500 gold each, and when 8 cards combined, it’s worth around 5000 gold. But is it worth crafting it for profit?
