This spreadsheet calculates how much you can earn from prospecting saronite ore by selling gems and enchanting materials. This also assumes you craft the following items for disenchanting:
1. Bloodstone Band
2. Crystal Chalcedony Amulet
3. Crystal Citrine Necklace
4. Sun Rock Ring

This certainly took a lot of spare time to make. Here it is – WoW! A spreadsheet for enchanting! See if you can make some cool profit by selling enchant scrolls in the AH. As usual, only change the values of those in yellow highlight. I’ve already included in the formula the cost of the armor vellums and weapon vellums. This spreadsheet only includes enchantments included in the WOTLK expansion.
Please do tell me how it goes for your server. My server’s enchant scroll market is so bad it’s not worth making scrolls.
Disenchanting Shadowmight Ring Spreadsheet

Some people really swear on the gold making capabilities of disenchanting shadowmight ring. Therefore, I decided to put everything in an excel file to determine how much you can profit from it. The truth shall prevail!
Shadowmight Ring requires 1 Eternal Earth and 1 Eternal Shadow. The latter is quite cheap, so your profit is really determined a lot by the price of Eternal Earth.
In the excel file, the only #s you need to replace are the ones in yellow highlights. See if you are able to profit from Shadowmight Ring.
In my experience, it’s not worth the hassle buying the mats and making Shadowmight Ring as Eternal Earth in my server can get really expensive. In the example in the excel file, imagine investing 280 gold to gain 30 gold. Come on, right? Besides, disenchanting lvl 70 rings/necklace is less costly and brings more profit even if you buy the green gems. With the same amount you invested in Shadowmight Ring, you’ll get a lot more in return with crafting and disenchanting the lvl 70 rings/necklace.

Exactly I do not know why some people still craft Shadowmight Ring for disenchanting. Maybe Bloodstone, Huge Citrine, Sun Crystal and Chalcedony costs a fortune on their server. If that is the case, then I recommend prospecting saronite ore instead to get the green gems. But then you also have to sell the rare gems or cut gems. That’s another story I shall talk about someday.
Disenchanting Leatherworking Arctic Boots
Leatherworkers, do not be envious of the enchanting-jewelcrafting combos for their infinite dust. You can also have the ability to craft greens and disenchant them for profit. Enchanting-leatherworking combo can also work provided that you know how much you buy your mats and how much to sell the dusts, essences, and shards.
Easy Disenchanting, Prospecting and Milling
A lot of people still do the clicking method when disenchanting, prospecting and milling. You know, for example, click disenchanting then click the gear to disenchant. This takes A LOT of time especially when you’re disenchanting, prospecting, or milling for profit. Haven’t you guys asked “Isn’t there a faster way?”
