In the trade channel I saw someone selling Battered Hilt for 10k. The lowest price in the AH was at 12k but it goes high around 14-17k. I wanted to test if it is possible to buy and sell Battered Hilt for a huge profit so I talked to the seller and bought the battered hilt for 10k.

A few days after, Battered Hilt prices hasn’t gone up yet. The cheapest was still at 12k but I wanted to try if I could sell it at 14k for a massive 4k profit. A week has gone by and to my dismay, instead of increasing in price, Battered Hilt went for as low as 9.5k. I waited a few days and there was still around 3 listed, with 10k as the highest. Two weeks later since I planned to buy and sell Battered Hilt, finally most of the cheap Battered Hilt has been bought out. There was only 1 listed in the AH which goes for 10k. Thus, I listed my Battered Hilt at 14k, hoping that someone will buy that 10k hilt and mine will be next on the list.

So far I’m still not successful in selling Battered Hilt at a huge profit of 4k. I was wondering why there was a sudden surge of Battered Hilt listed on the AH. I thought it was a very rare drop? Then, one time my friend and I were running at H POS, when the Battered Hilt dropped, TWICE! The person who won the first hilt left the group right away. The second hilt was won by another person. I DIDN’T WIN ANY! Did the drop rate go up? Is this the reason why there are at least 4 Battered Hilts listed for 2 weeks?

In any case, I’m still hoping to sell my Battered Hilt for a 3-4k profit. Selling really expensive items such as this requires a lot of patience if you want to profit from it. Engineers, I now feel your pain when selling mechano-hogs.

I will update this as soon as I successfully sold the Battered Hilt for profit.
